Today is a special day ... Special for many things!
One because the twins do Vasco and Margaret Miller 23 years! I know them to significantly ... 20. Much as our mothers were friends at work but also because our high school years (grande. .. great ... Sunbeam!) Were always spent together and since then we always go rivers moments despite having always been in classes / different schools. They are without doubt along with Max, the friends I have more time! And they are two people that I can not see when I'm in Portugal.
I think it's not worth talking about the times we've had together because they lost me for sure. But since holidays in Altura, Southwest, Vilar de Moors (only with Vasco), Passages of years, Inter-rail (again only with Vasco) and many other adventures! No doubt that the Christmas holiday were the people with whom I spent more time and lhees just have to thank for that (as I did ...).

Today is a special day for another reason. Many people know what I mean, others less so. Today, 5 years makes a great friend, John Carlos, died of leukemia. I will not make a big text about it until now because I did previously and who wants to can see it here (click on "here")
Despite the shock as all hope something ... the disease was not news to anyone! Despite this impact is always huge. As you can guess that one day party was supposed to be the first case mentioned above, became a huge trouble for us all. Clearly, John will always be with us for everything and everything was passed on to us!
Yesterday was the last day of my course in Molecular Immunology. I made a presentation that was supposed to lead to a short discussion (for the most nerds: Th1 vs Th17 in autoimmune diseases - I defended the Th1) but I was so convincing that in the end few people had doubt about what he said. This gave rise to a great compliment by my coordinator that left me Frill super: D
There is another new ... but I'll save it until it is actually confirmed! (Nãoooo. .. not yet ... got PhD)
