Dear readers,
almost a month ago today I left the last post. Many of you might have thought he gave up writing and others have already given up coming here. Well I ask you to make noo ... This last month has been very intense in all directions and the time / desire to write has not been much. Of course it would be too complicated to make a summary of everything that has happened in recent times but I will mention some points which will most interest!
The last post spoke to my birthday and that is precisely where we'll start. My birthday was held in Wageningen on the weekend of 28 and 29 March where they also celebrated the birthday of John! The party was in Binnenhaven, where I used to live last year. It is clear that the presence of two more Évora helped a lot ... I speak of course Philip and John who came to visit me for a little over a week. I'll give a small picture of que foi a noite (nem vale a pena falar do caminho para casa porque isso sim foi uma luta enorme!!!...)
Claro que a semana foi cheia de trabalho na mesma e tive que preparar várias apresentações durante esse tempo. Mas o facto de chegar a casa e ter alguma companhia já me deixava bastante contente e claro que sempre que quiserem voltar são bem vindos! Já sei que gostariam de ir a Amesterdão mais vezes (as meninas deixaram-vos impressionados hum? hehe) por isso é bom voltarem!
Dia 8 de Abril tive a minha apresentação for the master to show what I have done in recent months. Went quite well and had criticisms very positive. Tambémo that no one noticing anything on this subject must have helped because the questions were more related to the techniques made and future plans of what exactly the results themselves.
Day April 9th I received a visit that truly longed for quite some months. The Renata (only to remember ... the link to her live journal is on the left side of this page) arrived at 12 coming from Faro (fine people who catch planes to get from Faro to Lisbon). Contrary to what the mother thinks mha (all due to an error search) Renata is not a goth chick outraged that only wears black, paint eyes, wears huge boots and has a face full of piercings! Of course my dear mother has a tendency to make such comments but deep down she just wants to protect your child's favorite older (is not it? Uh huh?). With the coming of
Renata ended up taking a few vacation days as well (few). So on Monday gave a 5 back to Rotterdam to show a little town that is in my opinion the ugliest of the Netherlands.
On Friday we went to Amsterdam with Maria, Peter (friend of Mary who came from London to visit her), Claudia (who was vacationing in Holland hehehe), Regina and Ivana. The night ended in the red light district where curiously narrow street in the neighborhood (not fit two people side by side) and where the shop windows with the girls light up the same street, a lady knocked on the window of the window and invited us to rally on it (me and Renata). I'm sure you just wanted to take some tea with us as we were but was hungry so we decided not to accept invitation bondozo!
On Saturday we went to Wageningen for a dinner organized by Claudia in Binnenhaven. The dinner was cod with cream (cooked by me) with Portuguese cod. But in my opiniãoo cod was not well washed and salted muitoooooo tava. There was also salad with tuna (Blerghhh!!) And other small dishes that people have taken / made. The big surprise of the night for me turned out to be the presence of Paul (a Frenchman who used to live in the same building) that decided the last Time to make a surprise and show up for dinner! Everything went quite well and of course the usual round was ... The Doctor and then International. Everyone who goes to Wageningen have to know these two sites to understand how you can be somewhere and finish as good a place as bad! Of course, with a few glasses over everything looks great and was exactly what I did! I must also cite the trip back home was not as big a battle as had been the previous week but Renata certainly know enough to be ... how to say ... boring ... with any alcohol in the blood "still lack muitooooooo ??....".
The next day ... Easter Sunday ... I must confess that was the most pleasant days I ever had in Wageningen. It all started with a nice lunch at the home of Francisco where it made meatloaf and pot roast johnson did (and still contend that those same potatoes fell well ...). Needless to say we all eat a lot and at the end Maria Regina and still hit a Sorna (I love the expression) as a good Portuguese Easter Sunday xD.
Monday ... Renata's last day in Holland and now in Rotterdam had planned a trip to Kinderdijk cycling ... problem .. and the site was a holiday with bikes for rent was closed! We ended up going by boat to a nearby site and then walk. I must say that the area is fantastic and the amount of mills is spectacular. The houses of the nearby villages are perfect and everything seems to be an ideal place to spend a relaxing holiday!
Tuesday morning it cost to raise a bit but there we travel to the airport. Farewells are never easy and this I was particularly costly. The days were fantastic and it is no secret to anyone (or almost anyone) have to Renata here was pretty special. I'm sure we will find again in the near future or not ... it will be under the same conditions I think only time will clear this up! I leave you some pictures of these 5 days ...
nutshell the first 3 photos were in Wageningen (and please do not forget to look at the fact that Joe be with two beers in hand !!!!)... ahhh and the lord of the second picture among young people is Alex .. an unconditional fan of Claudia who likes a lot of guys (same .....) and is very child psychologist (hahahahahahaha). The last 3 photos are in Kinderdijk. Mom ... As you can see the last photo Renata is not an animal like to paint ... and has a corninhos muitoooo cute! xD I'll end here
